My Trip To Robert Is Here Fruit Stand

If you don’t know, you will soon realize that farmer’s markets, fruit stands are my thing…let me keep it real MY OBSESSION! I love the vibrant colors, textures, and different variations of fruits and vegetables. Then you have the local goods such as honey, herbs, natural products, juices, and smoothies. Wow! I just can't get enough. The more I travel, my goal is to visit a market everywhere I go.

So let’s skip to the good part. My first introduction to Robert Is Here was from my favorite full-time eater Youtuber, Mark Weins. When I saw this video I paused immediately and added it to my Google maps!

Lucky me, I was in Florida for a friend's wedding. Homestead, Florida to be exact–can you believe ‘Robert Is Here’ was 8 minutes away from the reception! So, the next day we headed there, and it was raining, unfortunately, so I have to go again. We were greeted with these beautiful sunflowers and as we entered it was fruit galore. I knew many of the fruits, but some were new to me but still so beautiful.

Here are some of the things they had: mangos, avocados, jackfruit, egg fruit, sapote, passion fruit mamey, papaya, soursop etc. Oh, the honey selection was amazing: orange, raspberry, avocado, lemon, cinnamon, ginger and many many more.

This was my first time in Florida and I didn’t realize many tropical fruits grow there. Majority of the produce at Robert is Here is grown locally on their farm. They had a jackfruit tree there along with some farm animals.

You can also get fresh smoothies and milkshakes while you are there. Just FYI, I’m not sure if the line is always long but there were quite a few people in front of us. It didn’t bother me though because I did more browsing as if I just didn't see everything. For the smoothies you can pick up to three fruits.

Check out this video to see what we got!

It’s safe to say I have an amazing time there and they will see me again–soon!

What’s your favorite fruit?
