True Life: Pinterest is my social addiction

Feel free to follow me because I’m always pinning and my boards are pretty organized so you will find something you love!
Recently, I did a batched photo shoot—basically in one day I created content that would last me a month. It sounds like a lot and it was—but also so much fun!
I wanted to create the content based on a theme, after speaking with my photographer we decided to create some looks on my board. In my opinion, this is a great idea because you can look for looks based on your current closet inventory. That’s what I did, and I also pulled some pieces from one of my favorite resale shops— RagJunkie.
Now....shall we get into these looks hunny?
Cropped Vintage Blazer
I love love love this blazer. I love the double collar with white and black. I purchased the blazer from Texas Thrift during a sell and it was $3. My jeans are also from Texas Thrift and they are Banana Republic Girlfriend Jeans. I also had on a gold coin belt that is not pictured but you can see it on my Instagram. My bag is from House of Rehab—which is a female black owned super dope brand. They call this bag the ‘Everything Bag’—that’s definitely what it is! I can fit everything in there. My shoes are Dolce Vita Nixon from DSW, as of recent they have been my go to the heel is perfect and they are comfortable.
Ruffle and Sway
So as you can see, I had to get a little creative with this look. I couldn’t find a skirt like this anywhere, but that’s okay. Remember when we are recreating—we are just using the inspiration! Therefore, I had to tap into my creativity. This dress is from Texas Thrift and I can’t remember the exact price but no more than $5! This top is from JC Penny’s, I got it during a sale in college when I was buying interview clothing. My shoes are from my local shoe store—$9.99 shoes. My favorite thing about this look is the transition from shoulder to shoulder. One sleeve is flared the other is fitted and ruffled at the end.
Corner Store
Who doesn’t love a cute comfy look...
I love the color combo in the look— maroon, yellow, orange yeah that’s a vibe! My cardigan is thrifted I got it from Thrift City in Lewisville. The cropped tank is Wild&Fable from Target. My pants were donated to my fashion swap, I’m so glad no one was interest because I snatched them up! My shoes a from Burlington’s and they are Sam Edelman.
Neon Mami
In times of malfunction, you improvise! This dress is from RagJunkie, and when I seen it I was like this is perfect because it’s on my board. Everything was going good until we got to the lower buttons on the dress...but its all good! I just wore the dress open with the same shirt from Target and some denim shorts (can’t remember from where). The clutch is from a sample sale at the Dallas Market Center and my shoes are from the $9.99 shoes store.
Denim Wrap Up
This look was fun as well! When I went thrifting in Austin my plan was to look for a scarve-like wrap skirt. Of course, I didn’t find it so I went to the scarve bucket and found this—perfect in my eyes! I think it was ~$2. The denim jacket is from RagJunkie—I believe it was a Budweiser jacket. It’s a perfectly sourced vintage denim because the quality is AMAZING! My mules are ALDO from DSW. I wear them so much, they are comfy and I’m always trying to add a POP!
RiRi Taught Me
You can never go wrong with denim on denim, it’s always a vibe—period! I purchased this top from Texas Thrift in Austin—no more than $7. My jeans are from Texas Thrift as well, Lauren Conrad High Rise Skinny. My shoe is a snake skin kitten heel and my bag is Vera Wang....from Texas Thrift as well lol!!!!
Dazzled Denim
GIVE.IT.TO.ME
I love this denim bomber jacket from RagJunkie! Do you see the detail, it has rhinestones all over! Even though this look is all denim the jacket added a whole new demension! The jeans are the same Lauren Conrad.
